My Work

Below you'll find some of my favorite pieces I have written during my undergraduate career. Many of these works have been written for a class that contributed to my Writing minor and some have been written for my Public Policy major; All of these pieces have shaped my undergraduate education and socialization.

An
Argument
Against Cash Bail

For this portfolio I chose to revise an older assignment, transforming a policy memo on the system of cash bail to an article assessing and detailing the modern system of cash bail.

Verging on Adulthood: Nature's Imprint on a Child

This work was written for my Green Rhetoric course when we were prompted to write a nature memoir. Its contents reflect on my experience growing up in the Pacific Northwest.

President Trump's National State of Emergency: An Analysis of Unparalleled and Unethical Declaration

Written for History, Theories and Research, this work is a policy analysis.

A Champions Memoir: The Unwavering Saliency of Character

This piece was developed for Theories of Writing; a core course for Writing minors. Here, I have played with the concept of a memoir and have crafted a memoir about a memoir.

An Examination of the Exploitative Practices of Penal Labor

I wrote a policy brief for the public policy course, Hard Choices in Public Policy. In this paper I detail the failures and unconstitutional nature of this system.
